Interest has been expressed in the logo for the TV show "That Girl," starring Marlo Thomas. These images are the best two I could find on the Net.

Elitism

I'm trying to discern what Americans mean when they talk about "elitism" in the context of intellect. I think it means "person who doesn't believe that if someone present fails to understand what is being said that that invalidates it."
